Subtitled 'An Indian and International Annual of Current Statistics, Events and Personalities', this rare compendium provides a wealth of facts and figures on a multitude of subjects, mostly related to Indian life, though with some sections on the Second World War and the British Empire. It was published by Nalanda Press in the 1940s with 478 pages. The book is in good condition. The dustjacket (not pictured) is quite chipped and torn. Boards are slightly frayed at the corners and evince some wear. Page edges are slightly scuffed. Endpapers are slightly foxed. The binding is firm and the text is clean.
