This large hardback was published by the Art Gallery of South Australia and the National Gallery of Australia to accompany an Islamic art exhibition in that country. It contains hundreds of colour illustrations showcasing a variety of Islamic arts. The book is primarily in English, with some of the text reproduced in the languages of Indonesia and Malaysia. The text consists of several chapters written by different scholars. The book is in very good condition. The dustjacket and boards have some creasing to the corners, and internal pages have small bends to the corners.
