Description
Offered here is a complete sequential one-year run of the weekly newspaper 'The Muslim World', running from August 1964 to July 1965. This newspaper was published by the World Muslim Congress out of Karachi, and presented economic and political news (and propaganda) from across the Muslim world; it also featured historical articles on Islamic and Indo-Pak themes, some by prominent authors such as Seyyed Hossein Nasr. Each issue consisted of 8 pages, so there are 416 pages in this volume, which collects all of the papers in sequential order. The newspapers are in fair condition. The boards are rather worn, and the spine strip is missing. Around a dozen pages or so have been improperly cropped, thereby shortening a few articles of their last sentences. Some pages are stained and torn, but this does not interfere much with legibility. Overall, the issues are in good shape and easily read.
