Description
This hardback was published by H. G. Bohn in 1863. It contains historical works by the 12th/13th century historian Gerald of Wales. 'The Topography of Ireland' and 'The History of the Conquest of Ireland' were translated by Thomas Forester, while 'The Itinerary Through Wales' and 'The Description of Wales' were translated by Sir Richard Colt Hoare. The text was revised and edited by Thomas Wright. The book is in fair condition. Boards are scuffed, frayed, and rubbed, and there is chipping to the spine ends. Page edges are scuffed and uneven. Endpapers are stained. There is sporadic foxing and pencilling to the text. The hinges are weak, though the binding is firm. This book is brought to you by Babar's Bibliotheca: www.facebook.com/BabarsBibliotheca.
