What is the mystery that surrounds Genghis Khan? More gigantic in historical literature than Alexander, the Caesars, Napoleon, or Hitler... 750 years ago, Genghis Khan, the great Mongolian war lord conquered half the world. A nomad, a hunter and herder of beasts, he outgeneraled the powers of three empires. He was a barbarian who had never seen a city and did not know the use of writing, yet drew up a code of laws for fifty nations which survived for centuries.
