Does snogging count as exercise?

In the back of my rough book I wrote a list of hurdles I needed to overcome in order to meet Luke (my friend Poppy's fit brother) and some of his friends - almost a date! Writing in my rough book had the added advantage of making me look really busy and productive. Get Poppy to invite Nick (she has a crush on him but won't do anything about it). Phone Luke (ignoring obvious second hurdle of family listening in as am forced to use landline at home); Possibly clarify who I am to Luke; Present compelling reasons as to why Luke would want to agree to the above along with his friends, whom I've never met. Meet Holly Stockwell - a fourteen-year-old who hates all forms of exercise, gets tongue-tied around boys, and has a best friend, Poppy, who seems to have been won over by the rich and gorgeous Claudia. Does it get much worse?
