Description
After their wonderful mother and their beloved dog Johnny die within months of each other, ten-year-old Rose and her brothers have to make some adjustments when they get a new dog and their father begins to date. Rose feels that her father and brothers are betraying the memories of her mother and Johnny by trying to replace them so quickly. Is she the only one that remembers they had a mother? In this story told straight from the heart, Rose learns that there's a place for both old and new memories, and that different experiences aren't always bad.
