Mattie, her mum and sister Mollie have moved house and made a new start. From now on, it’ll be just the three of them... right? Wrong. Because Mum’s found herself a new man- the stylistically challenged Geoffrey. Worse atill, Geoffrey’s uber-nerd of a son, Rupert, comes as part of the deal. Droopy Rupey, with his spotty face, metal mouth and bottle-bottom specs, is a total embarassment- now the seriously goodlooking Sam Barker wont look at her twice! Wrong again. Sam starts coming on to her, big time. Trouble is, sharing a room with Moll is turning into a noghtmare, relations with mum are awful, and Mattie’s even fallen out with her best mate. Can her life possibly get any worse?
