Streetlife

The single mother of a little girl, Jo is a young woman whose life consists of a council estate and a married man who loves her. She begins as an intelligent woman determined to get out of the poverty trap; when she becomes pregnant by her lover who soon leaves her, however, she experiences a descent through love into hell.
