The kargil war: a saga of patriotism

Starting with a recollection of Indo-Pak relations since 1947 and Indian foreign policy towards Pakistan, the book includes a chapter on Kashmir Problem since its beginning to present day to clarify the historical background of the kargil War. This is followed by a chronological presentation of events in the Operation Vijay since its beginning on May 6. The two most important chapters in this work are The Operation Vijay (the Kargil war) and A Saga of Patriotism (the Martyrs of Kargil). Other interesting features of the book are Qs. The book ends with a conclusion summing up the lessons from Kargil and including suggestions that such conflicts may not erupt in future.
