Broken memories: case studies in memory impairment

Broken Memories explores some of the unusual and disabling disturbances of memory or knowledge to which people have fallen prey through brain disease or accident. These patients give important glimpses into how memory functions and how knowledge is acquired and disposed. They make us aware of how brain structures underpin remembering in different circumstances, and how different functional components in remembering may interrelate. The authors are leading international researchers, with extensive expertise in psychological and neuropsychological research.
