Lady Therese of Essex has everything a woman could hope for: beauty, elegance, and wealth. The only real problem lies in her luck with men, due to her strong-willed, spirited nature and intellect. Then one night a letter arrives at the castle addressed to her late father Lord Richard. Before she has a chance to read the letter, it is found missing, and so too its source.
